When I create art, I circle around the theme of time. I deal with the way an individual relates to the issues of time, memory, different time dimensions, and reality. The human memory has a tendency to arrange various events to correspond to its own experiences. At one end, there is reality with all the events that have been experienced with the personal memories being found at the other end. How can the two meet?

When I portray the issues of time, I also use a more objective approach dealing with the questions of how we experience the way time passes, whether time is linear or whether it repeats itself or whether we live in the middle of several different timelines. My paintings may include intersections into the past and the several possibilities that exist in the present.

The manner in which I create art is very emotional. Colours and the way they are laid out receive a great importance when I work. The level of portrayal varies from completely abstract to realistic, depending on the emotional status.
